November is a great time of year. Harvest is usually done by this time, and everyone is breathing a little easier. Hunting season ramps up with a flurry of activity, as well as many prayers for safety. Through all of this we see that God is continually faithful. He always provides what we need even though we often want more. During this month our thoughts turn to Thanksgiving. We make plans to gather with family and friends to enjoy each other’s company. Hopefully it is also a time to reflect on the many blessings God has given us and to return thanks to Jehovah-Jireh (God my provider). As we gather throughout this month, we will be examining some of what God has to say to us about gratitude. Our hope is that we will grow better in recognizing God’s hand of blessing and our expression of gratitude. I also want to remind everyone that November 18th will be a special day of celebration as we hear a report back on the service project we presented 90 days ago. How did God grow you and impact the kingdom through that opportunity? I look forward to our time together.
