There are many different ideas about how the end times will unfold. Last week we took some time to lay out the ground rules of our approach to God’s word and prophecy in particular. Our goal as we come together this week is to examine God’s word as it relates to the topic of the Rapture. There have been recent attempts by some to pinpoint the date of the Rapture. Sadly, these predictions have not come true, because Jesus declared, “no man knows the day or the hour.” Yet God has given us a glimpse into the future as a a means of hope and comfort. I hope that you will join us as we explore God’s word again this week to find hope and confidence to live in expectation of his soon return.
