A Note from our Pastor

Every Christmas we sing songs that represent our joy that God came to earth. The great hymn Joy to the World is often inserted into our worship this time of the year, even though it looks toward the second coming of Christ. Sadly, for all our culture’s attempts at joy, many simply endure the Christmas season. There is no joy and no rejoicing; rather, there is shame and guilt that grips their souls. If we stop running long enough, we may find ourselves walking in the shame of missed opportunities and failures. We may find ourselves feeling guilty over words said or unsaid. Zephaniah speaks to us in this season from an unlikely Christmas text. I hope that you all can join us as we find encouragement and strength in the fact that better days are coming!
