I hope that you all had a great 4th! It is a great time to reflect on the privilege we call freedom. But I am also reminded that with that privilege comes responsibility. This week we have the opportunity to explore the mission that results from our privilege of access. Peter reminds us that we have been made a holy priesthood so that we can offer spiritual sacrifices. Also, since we are a people for His own possession we are to declare the excellencies of the one who rescued us. I hope that you will set aside the time to join us this week as we try to put into practical terms what it means to offer “spiritual sacrifices.” I can’t wait for our time together.
