I am excited to gather this week. I firmly believe that God is going to encourage and grow us as we study 1 Peter. Peter writes to a group of people that he calls elect exiles. It is a letter that was intended to encourage these exiles to see that the gospel comes to bear in every area of their lives. It is a letter that will encourage us to live the true grace of the gospel even if we face hostility at the hands of family, friends, coworkers, and government. It will be an encouraging yet challenging journey. Peter will not let us be comfortable but reminds us that “in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.” Invite a friend and join us as we embark on this journey,
