I am excited about our next series. You won’t want to miss our times together this month as we focus our attention on Jesus’ statement, “It is finished!” Too often we equate this statement only with the price paid for our sin. Yet Jesus’ cry and the cross is the center point of God’s redemptive plan. His cry from the cross “finished” has so much more meaning and implication for living than we often consider. This week we are going to introduce the topic and relate it to the trustworthiness of our God. I would encourage you to pray that God would use this study to strengthen our faith, but also to grow our concern for our community. Pray for your families and neighbors. Invite them to come and experience what Christ finished on the cross.
