A NOTE FROM OUR PASTOR
I hope that this finds you all enjoying the
week and looking forward to our time together
Sunday. It has been an amazing journey
these last weeks as we have taken the
time to explore how Jesus taught his disciples
to pray. John MacArthur reminds us
that “Every petition promises something that
He already guarantees.” His name will be
glorified, his kingdom will come, and his
will shall be accomplished. He will meet our
daily needs and has forgiven us in Christ.
This week we will look at the last petition—a cry for protection. We will explore this reminder of the battle we face daily and the means to flee the temptations that arise. This is a fitting way to end our study, and I look forward to our time together.
