Over these last few weeks we have been building up to the second coming of Christ. On the day that Jesus ascended back up into heaven the disciples were told, “This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11. Since that day, Christ followers of every generation have lived in expectation. We will gather this week to take a glimpse at this great event. What will be going on? How should this event shape our lives now? I hope that you will take the opportunity to join us Sunday as we look for the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ our Lord.
