Do you ever wonder what in the world is going on? As we listen to the political pundits, news media, and economic gurus, we tend to wonder how much worse it could possibly get. To top all of this off, we are rolling ever closer to December 21, 2012. This is the day when the Mayan calendar ends. Back in 2009, Hollywood produced 2012 with all the theatrics and special effects you would expect which depicted the end of life as we now know it. The film depicts disaster of epic or better Apocalyptic proportions. As we sift through all of the political, economic, and mythical nonsense we must come face to face with the truth. Our world seems to be “headed to hell in a hand basket.” This fall we are going to examine God’s word to see what the future holds. What are the major highlights of the end times events? And we will seek to understand God’s purpose in revealing these key highlights to us and how that should affect the trajectory of our lives. I hope you will purpose to join us this fall as we engage God’s Word on A Collision Course with Armageddon.
