I hope this finds you all doing well this week.
We have much for which to thank our great
God. Last week our study in The Story
helped us to see that he has granted us his
power through his indwelling Spirit for the
purpose of accomplishing his mission. We
have been given everything we need for life
and godliness. We lack nothing positionally,
but experientially we too often fail to fulfill his purpose because we fail to submit to his leading and authority. This week our study will, Lord willing, help us begin to complete our understanding of what God is doing now through the Church. We will focus on our mission. Specifically, we will see how God desires us to represent him in our culture. Many say that we are to confront our culture, and others would argue that we are to be separate from our culture. How then are we to be witnesses of God’s grace and truth in
Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends
of the earth? Join us as we find challenge
and encouragement from an event in Paul’s
life and his instructions to the Corinthian
church. I hope to see you all Sunday either
for the 9 AM or 10:30 AM service.
Blessings,
Pastor Dave
