Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 ESV)
Today oh Lord we desire to lift before you the AWANA ministry. We are humbled that you would invite us to be part of exalting your name in all the earth. We stand amazed at how you continue to grow this ministry week by week. It is our desire to represent you well to these children, to their parents, and this community. Would we fully depend upon Your Spirit to accomplish this work in and through us. We ask that you would enable us to present ourselves before you as one approved. Approved not because of any merit or accomplishment of our own, but approved because of Jesus and His sacrifice for us. We desire to handle Your Word of truth accurately. We desire to live that truth daily in each of our relationships. We desire to proclaim the good news – the truth – to these children of our community. Grant grace and mercy, strength and courage to those leading as we exalt you through the AWANA ministry.
