A Note From Our Pastor

I enjoy this world in which we live. God has given me the privilege to see much of this great nation. I especially love the mountains. The ruggedness and majesty remind me of how insignificant I am and how great is our God. Yet, I am reminded that this world is not my home. Paul and Peter use terms like “alien” and “stranger” to describe our rela- tionship with this world. We are to view our lives very much like those who were in exile in Babylon. This week we take a look at the example of four young men who will help us understand what it means to live in Babylon. We will find our strength in the fact that God is our judge. And we will link this truth with what it means to live as aliens in our culture. Will you have the courage to join us as we seek to live in such a way that “they see our good deeds and glorify our God in heaven”? I look forward to our time together.
Pastor Dave
