Our Great and Gracious God, who has redeemed a people for your possession I thank you for this gracious work of your hand. You are the Mighty One of Israel, and you are the Victor. It is our prayer and request Lord, that you would remind us of Christ’s victory daily. The enemy of our soul would tempt us to despair as we look around to see the state of our society. The enemy of our soul would seek to remind us of our faults, failings and unworthiness. Lord we ask that you would protect each one. We stand today, and seek to display your glory not on any merit of our own. We acknowledge that we are a sinful people. We confess that our hearts are so prone to wandering. Yet the victory over sin, death, and hell is not in our effort but secured by Christ on the Cross. We agree with Jesus and ask that you would protect us from the evil one(Jn 17:15), and that your glory would be displayed in each of our lives. We thank you for your promises, and we thank you for Your Victory.
In Jesus’ Victorious name ….
