Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; (2 Corinthians 5:17-18 ESV)
Father forgive us for thinking that we are able to bring anything of value to You. You have reconciled us to yourself through Jesus. Your holy and righteous wrath have been satisfied because Jesus became sin for us and died in our place. The wonder of the gospel is that you have chosen us, not that we have chosen You! Grip our hearts O God, transform our passions. You have promised that all who repent and believe are NEW in Christ. You remind us that the OLD has passed away. This has been done according to Your plan, Your grace, Your mercy. You seek us!!! You open our eyes. You breath life into these dead bones. And now you give all who are in Christ the ministry of reconciliation. As we consider the wonder of Your Grace toward us, may we also see the need around us. May we see the world around us through Your eyes. And may that move us to take the good news to our families, friends, community, and to the world.
