O my God, incline your ear and hear. ….. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy. (Daniel 9:18 ESV)
Merciful Father in heaven, we come before you to lay all of our cares before you. You are a “great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love” you (Dan 9:4). We recognize that we have no right to ask anything of you. Yet in your love and mercy you have called us to approach you boldly with our cares. We plead for wisdom, courage, love and compassion. We seek your protection from the fiery darts of the enemy of our souls. We desire that the glory of the cross would be reflected in every area of our lives. And we desire that through our lives the nations would know that You are God. Would you grant each of us an opportunity today to represent you well.
for the glory of Your Name…
